nicole, jessy and i are heading to brazil for quarter away. i'm so excited i can't even explain. to think two months ago i would've never even considered it. i have a feeling, it's going to be amazing.on a side note, i just had the best weekend in south carolina with sab for a 'weekend away' before the end of the quarter. and i went to richie rich's house, aka the biltmore estate.
this picture doesn't do it, or the 8,000 acres, justice. that or the winery that is on the estate. cause let's be serious. that's the real reason we went. we took a class on red wine and chocolate pairing and a behind the scenes tour where we learned to make wine and the difference between red and white and american and french barrels. it was basically my dream sunday afternoon. we also went to a gamecocks football game where we got to scream go cocks [i'm very mature] a tapas restaraunt, stumbled upon a free country concert where we drank beer and watched drunken girls being arrested, then finished off the evening with some karaoke and $1.25 beers. all and all an amazing weekend. soon to be followed by an amazing three months in brazil. it can't come soon enough.

i went there on a field trip in elementary school and saw macaulay culkin filming richie rich there.
i also accidentally set off the alarm at one of the exhbits.
